Questions / Question 5 of 6
Do I need a new website to show up in AI answers?
The short answerUsually not. Most sites need a handful of specific fixes, and a report tells you which ones matter, so you don't pay for a rebuild you don't need.
1See it
One website, three readers
Picture: the same made-up homepage three ways. A person sees everything. Google misses the words printed on the photo. ChatGPT sees only the name and the menu.
2Why it happens
Three reasons
- Most problems can be fixed on the site you have. Clearer wording, your town near the top, structured data and a blocked setting can all be fixed in place.
- Sometimes the way the site is built is the problem. If every page arrives empty for AI tools, a different setup may be the real fix. That's when a rebuild pays off.
- A new site can repeat the old mistakes. Without a clear list of what was wrong, a fresh design often keeps the same problems.
