TechPerspectives

About

Steve MacGregor

I help small business owners make their business easier to run. That's the short version.

I started TechPerspectives because I kept seeing the same pattern: small businesses running harder than they needed to. Not because something was fundamentally wrong, but because small inefficiencies had compounded — clunky workflows, confusing customer experiences, tools that weren't pulling their weight.

Before recommending anything, I want to understand how your business actually operates day to day. Where time gets wasted. Where customers get confused. Where things are more manual than they need to be.

I don't come in with a pre-made solution or a pitch for the latest platform. I look at what's actually happening, figure out what's worth fixing, and help you fix it. If something's working fine, I leave it alone.

I work with small businesses, micro businesses, and individuals across the Denver metro area. The work is always custom, always practical, and always focused on reducing the friction that makes your business harder to run than it should be.

Principles

How I Think About the Work

Start with what's real

I don't work from assumptions. I look at how your business actually runs — the daily operations, the bottlenecks, the workarounds you've built up over time.

Fix what's worth fixing

Not everything needs to change. I focus on the high-effort, low-payoff processes that eat up your time and make things harder than they need to be.

Don't add complexity

The goal is a simpler business, not a more sophisticated one. If a solution requires you to maintain something fragile, it's not the right solution.

Modern workspace

If any of that resonates, let's talk.

I'll take a look at what you're working with and tell you honestly if I can help.
